写作示范

Many young people frequently change their jobs either for advancing their career or simply for making more money. This may bring more opportunities and a higher income to them, although sometimes it prevents them from developing expertise.

Some people search for a new job because they believe that they deserve high pay with their skills.  They might start their career as front-line employees in restaurants, but after working several years, they can accept the offer of a new company to work as managers who know how to run a restaurant, divide work and manage staff, as their experience accumulates. Some people who studied accounting at university may handle bookkeeping when they graduate, but they can change jobs later and work as accountants to manage a company’s accounts, make investment decisions and prepare financial reports. These new positions provide a higher salary, which is important for them, especially when they have to raise a family.

Young people who have ambitions and intend to expand skills set also switch jobs from time to time. If they have been doing clerical work for a number of years, it makes sense to look for new positions in which they can improve communication skills by marketing products to clients. Those who work as teachers at school can apply for a management position in another institution to improve management skills. Possessing many skills is important in the modern world, where the competition is fierce and the business environment is volatile.

On the other hand, those who change jobs frequently cannot develop expertise and earn a high income. Companies would not recruit them, since these job applicants may not have a well-defined career path. It is also difficult for these people to show an in depth knowledge of how services are provided, how to address clients’ needs, and what skills are required for performing a task. They cannot earn a decent living, receive a pension or get promoted.

In conclusion, smart career moves can benefit working people by increasing their earnings and offering more opportunities for career advancement, but changing jobs frequently may leave a bad impression on potential employers.
