写作示范

People have different views with regard to the classroom capacity setting in terms of language learning. In my view, the process of learning language should be conducted in small classes.

Firstly, small classes can contribute to the effectiveness for learners when learning a foreign language. For teacher, small classes provide them with opportunity to better tailor their instruction to the students in the class. In this sense, it is likely that students spend more time on task, and teachers spend more time on instruction and less on classroom management, leading to higher achievement for language learners.

Secondly, learning language in small classes can also improve the quality of classroom interaction, which is a practice that enhances the development of the two very important language skills, speaking and listening, among the learners. It is much easier for teachers to organise activities aims at meaningful communication among students in their target language than it is to conduct such tasks in a bigger size of class. In this respect, language learners can be guided to communicate with their peers easily and will give them an exposure to the vase genres of language learning.

Admittedly, some may attach no importance for the size of class in language learning. It is believed that what we learn in the classroom is not enough for learning a language because after-class practice holds the key to language competence, and the use of language on a daily basis can achieve the ultimate goal in language learning - to communicate. However, it is plausible for students to practice the language during their daily life. For example, when learning English in a non-English speaking country, learners often find it difficult to spend time on practicing the language, to say nothing about interacting with others using English.

In conclusion, it seems to me that learning a language should be implemented in small classes for its effectiveness and interaction purposes.
