Once they take the position, they can introduce advanced management systems and practices which modernise a company, and formulate strategies which can make the optimal use of resources to embrace opportunities and challenges lying ahead.
Despite the justifications for lucrative rewards for management jobs, a company should make sure that management’s salary does not reach the level which can hurt the motivation of employees. Front-line workers, in particular, feel unhappy with income disparity as they think they devote as much time to their work as those in the boardroom. They have resentment against the policy which puts a large proportion of profit in the pockets of the management team.
